Hi, I've just accepted an offer from Accenture in BSI.Can anyone shed some light on what salary a senior manager or partner could expect to make at Accenture?

you should expect around 80k+ as senior manager depending on how much credit they give you at that level. A partner should be getting 100k+

Unless there's a unique dynamic to partnership at Accenture that I'm unaware of, a partner should be earning considerably more than £100K, even in salary alone. Average partner pay at PwC in 2005 was £620K, while at Deloitte it was £700K. The senior partner at KPMG takes home £3m, the senior partner at Deloitte's takes home £3.6m.There is a huge gap between the pay of a senior manager and a partner. NB: Figures taken from http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4153/is_20060315/ai_n16227274

I am a senior manager in Accenture, and my base is £112k (although I am at the top end of Senior Manager). There are 4 levels of 'Partner' - actually called Senior Executives now. Level 4 maps to the old associate partner grade and you can expect around £130k plus a very significant stock grant. Level 3 maps to the old junior partner level, and you would expect starting to be around £250k. You've made it when you reach Level 2 (there are around 300 globally) and thats when the real money starts. No numbers im afraid.

Thanks for the replies guys.Next question is how long it takes to get to that stage and are there certain firms that it's easier/more diffuclt to become partner?

It's not easy to become a partner at any of the big firms -- there aren't many of them and there is a lot of competition for the jobs. Fresh-faced grads are all keen to get onto the fast track to partner when they join, but the truth is that very, very few of them will make it.Becoming a partner is more than just a promotion -- you become "one of them" and must be accepted as "one of them".

If you're starting from the bottom:Analyst: 2 yearsConsultant: 3 yearsManager: 3 yearsS. Manager: 3,6,8 yearsAnd according to something I've read, 1 in 4 SMs at ACN make SE.Personally I think part of it is that two types of people hang on until the end: those that are destined to be SE (the one-fourth) and those that are too s***e to get a job anywhere else (the other three quarters).

So you'd be aiming for mid-30's to be SE then. What's the main thing that would differentiate those who become SE and those that are too shite to get a job elsewhere? Would it be beneficial to leave and do an MBA at somepoint? As far as I'm aware, Acc don't place much importance on it.

I'll be interested to know how much efforts one has to put in to get to the SE or senior partner level? Is there any who made it would like to share some experience of hard work?

I agree with a previous statement about ACN Partner salaries at ACN. There are different levels at Partnership level based on time at service and experience. The minimum Partner salary in the UK is around £250k.
