I'd suggest that this is not as dumb a question as some respondents have made it out to be. I'd be interested in finding out about Paul's results.Anon holds that it's all about the ability to BS. Probably some truth in that, but I put it to you that you cannot BS if you do not have some modicum of intelligence. And, for that matter, what is intelligence anyway? A number of studies have pointed out that IQ in and of itself is meaningless.Sometimes the people we look up to as "intelligent" have comparatively low IQs, while folks who are "a bit slow" have higher IQs. IQ and EQ (emotional intelligence quotient) in combination, along with an ability to apply theory and interpretation appropriately to whatever context (perhaps to bullsh*t) is what our perceptions of intelligence are often founded on.Anon might be right that the higher IQs can be found in the more reputable firms. I'd be surprised if this was a perfect correlation. As for using a Jim Carey movie to refute a valid question of study, well ... there are many ways to assess someone's intellectual dimensions.Paul, let us know how your study pans out.
