I have a first round interview coming up shortly for Deloitte TI as an experience hire. Can anyone give me some tips as to what to expect?I have researched the company via its website and know my answers to standard interview questions.Any help on what else to prepare for would be appreciated!

Hi,The interview will be competency based interview with senior manager. The agnda would be What have you done, how have you done it, what were your responsibilities etc.Hope this helps.

Hi Judy, I have had my first round weeks ago. Luckily I have managed to go through and now have a second round, hope the below helps. if you want to contact me tell me and I will give u my email. I tink u should prepare well about your experience and try to show that you are fit to work for deloitte. I tried to show that my expeience was very much in line with what Deloitte are expecting (from their website) I have drafted a 5 page word document on info on delioitte and things to say on my experience. if you want I can pass it on to you. hope this helps.

You can't even spell 'cretin'!!!Isn't consultancy about gathering information, analysing the useful bits and then acting on this 'useful' info.Just cos u read the document - it doesnt mean u have to regurgitate it like a sheep!!obviously u have issues!!ps just cos it was posted several months ago does that invalidate the information or mean its no longer accessible? NO - it does not!!

I do have to say, it IS slightly pathetic seeing people scramble to obtain this '5-page Word document', as if it were gold dust....If you're at all hoping to secure a job with Deloitte or any other company, doing your own, PRIMARY research is essential. Now I know people will say that they just want to supplement their own research with this document, but in reality how much can (and I quote) a "word document .. things to say on my experience" help with your preperation?!Here's a hit that will help get you a job: Know the company inside-out, know yourself inside-out, know the value you can add to the company, and be able to clearly describe this. Have some personality, have some flair, individuality, and some element of a personality! And there ain't a 50-page Word document telling you how to do all that!
