Hi AllUp front apologies if this looks a bit like lots of other posts, I have searched them and not quite got the answered I'm looking for.I'm a public sector employee at the moment (prof qualified, MBA & experience as internal cons.) and looking to switch to a firm. I have had a positive 2nd meeting with Hay and waiting for next steps, also have meeting lined up with Deloitte (people & change area). What I'm keen to get a view on is how these places tick (now a few people in Deloitte but all fairly new to it, have no inside knowledge on Hay). The main issue I'm trying to get my head around at the moment is sales targets. In initial conversations with Deloitte they were talking about possibility of entry as manager i.e. with sales targets, being totally new ot this industry I have kept options open (i.e SC initially and then quick review). From meeting with Hay they were talking about targets straight off aswell.Suppose would like to know what the reality is, how one drums up business and how industry bods like me adapted to this?cheers in anticipationEd
