Hi there,I have been reading with much interest through everyone's postings. What I haven't seen is anything regarding moving into consulting in Australia - specifically Sydney.I am completing a part-time MBA through the AGSM, have completed a change management qualification, have been working in financial services for the past 4 years plus in the health sector for 3 years prior...would love to work for a strat firm but would more likely have a chance in a change management as this is what I have been doing primarily. What opportunities are there?Would I be considered for an associate role?/for a grad program?Cheers, ozchick

Well you've conquered the biggest hurdle which is being in Sydney already to attend interviews and get a feel for the business community. You've probably got too much experience to get much out of a grad job and associate hiring is mainly for guys and gals finishing a fulltime MBA, but there's no reason you can't apply as an "experienced hire". If you know the consultancies you like, have a peek at their websites - you might be surprised how many people hop in and out from regular jobs and how open the market is.

Thanks for this. I'm looking to transfer to Sydney as a top-end Consultant or Senior Consultant with 3 yrs + experience. what should my salary expectations be?
