Please can someone advise me; I graduated a few years back with a BA Business Studies degree achieving a 2:1. However after comming back from a year of travelling I really didnt know what I wanted to do... some my first few jobs were as a project coordinator, hoping to cut into project managment. Is it too late to take a graduate training scheme? is there a better route?I have worked with Atos Origin, and found that I was treated rather like a PA and the chances of me moving on in the company were dim... I have worked with consultants and find that this would be a challenge and an exceptionally rewarding career for me (I dont mind the long hours and so on!) I am at present wanting to do the right course. Can someone advise which would prove beneficial CIMA or an MBA to break into Business consultancy, and how can I gain some experience?Really need you help!tx

Full time MBA from good school will help but provides no guarantees. If you can present your work experience in a positive view, plus an MBA, you would stand fair chance.MBA is by no means essential for going into consulting but it can help get your foot in the door. Not sure that going in as graduate trainee is good idea with a few years work experience, depends on hom many years and what you did, but I think that after a couple of years you should try and go in a step higher.
