Can anyone at Deloitte Consulting in London, or who has worked there, tell me what the resourcing process is?I'd be interested to know things like:How formal is the process?Who makes the resourcing decisions?When is resourcing usually triggered (is it built into the sales process in reality?)Does the process take into account skillsets?Does the process take into account individuals' preferences, performance goals, development objectives, etc.?Do individual consultants get consulted before being staffed to a project, or is there much delay after the decision before you find out you've been put on a project?The reason I'm asking is that I don't think the resourcing process works very well at my current firm and if I move I'd like to make sure that's one of the things that gets better.Thanks.
