Anyone else think the Top Consultant jobs page is rubbish? The geographic criteria are "UK: London and SE" and "UK: Outside of London".Gee thanks. This is not helpful. Next, since I want to live/ work in Yorkshire, I search in "Outside of London" and I'm thrown job opportunities in Kent. Is this not the SE?If I was an advertiser on this site and was not hawking a job in London, I'd save my money and go elsewhere.Of the 60m people in this country, 50m don't live in the SE. Yes, many consulting firms are London-based, but there are also many who are not.Can we please have at least a regional filter?<rant over>

Mark - appreciate your candour. The issue is simply that there are hardly any firms recruiting significant volumes outside of London / South East and so to have Birmingham / Manchester / Edinburgh / etc. as drop down options would produce the opposite problem - most days you'd get no results back from the searches you'd conducted and the jobs-by-email alerts would be devoid of content. If you use the keyword search facility then you can search for specific locations. Readers use this to look for places like "Dubai" or "Sydney" and isolate only roles targetting these areas. If you try Yorkshire, however, you will see that there is only one campaign running for consultants in Yorkshire. There are 350 - 450 UK roles live at any time and 90% of these are based in London/ South East. So we've just built the jobs board to reflect the distribution of consulting firms' locations.Tony
