I am a lawyer who is looking to move into public sector consultancy and (for obvious reasons) am particularly interested in Justice work. Can anyone tell me whether this is a good time to apply and which firms have the best reputations for Justice ? Thanks

PA's Justice practice is maxed out at the moment, think it's the top billing department in the firm

Thanks for replying Bri500. I really liked P as they sounded as though they were doing just the sort of work I would be interested in but I was told a month or so ago that they weren't recruiting in Justice right now. Maybe I should try again if they are maxed out ! Who would you consider their main competitors in the Justice field ?

Don't know specifically who their competitors are, but in general PA's recruitment policy is "open" and if you submit your CV they'll review it and hire you if you're good enough. However, if you phone them up, they might say they're not hiring. Would stick a CV in speculatively and you might be surprised.
