They're going to do a competency iterview, they'll ask you to give examples of a time when...Memorise a bunch of answers based on the STAR technique then keep talking until they can't remember what they asked any more. Given their level of intelligence you should be able to go through that relatively easily, provided you talk that much.

I will interrupt and move on once I've got what I need fro a particular part of the question!

The key advice is the same for all telephone based interviews. Remember that you will actually lose about 70% of your usual communication because its not verbal, so focus on your tone, pacing etc. Keep a more formal posture and environment for the call, walk around etc, all keeps you conscious of how quickly you are talking, what you are saying, and will be keep a natural variance in your voice. Also - important - talk in smaller chunks than you would face to face, checking frequently that you are addressing the question and that the interviewer is engaged. Also - in a face to face interview you can take a momentary pause to put an answer together, whereas in a tele interview you obviously can't. So instead break down the question and verify your understanding of key points in responding. This will keep you on track, show you are listening, and give you structure to answer.

I'm not speaking about any particular company here, just about telephone interviews in general. With the telephone interviews, also make sure you've got your CV out there to about 100 other companies too. A telephone interview is sort of a way, in my opinion, of saying that they have so little interest in you at this stage that they're not even going to invite you into their offices yet. In other words, you're still on square 1 - it might feel like you're on a journey to getting that offer, but you may well never even get to see them in person let alone get an offer. Also, before the interview, find out who is going to be interviewing you. If it's someone young and inexperienced, then you might as well basically consider yourself rejected already.
