Hi All, I got a job offer at Accenture based in London for PMO consultant Team Lead L9 position. The offer is at 50K and I have around 8 years experience in PMO . so my question if this is a good offer for my experience? is this a junior position or is it a good start considering working for accenture? I never worked in London before. so is 50K is enough to live in London for family with 2 kids? need quick advise pleaseThe role will also include travelling UK wide, so any previous experience on working for ACN just to help me decide on the offer, thanks a lot for this great forum Math

Correct. You'd be better off on £30k in Wales. And you would be able to breathe the air too.

£50k for level 9 is actually a pretty good offer, I've seen people get offered and accept £10k less than that. £50k with 2 kids (and a wife?) is not much in London. If you like to live a very frugal lifestyle - eating in, never taking holidays you may be okay.

50k isn't bad for a Level 9 role but it is going to leave you no more than about £3k after tax a month...with London rents you will have to live much further out and factor in commuting costs. With utilities etc I seriously doubt you can support four people on that...Personally I'd take Wales as BEP suggests!

You'd need to live a long way out in the sticks.Also maybe hope for an out of town near you to save on transport costs.Even an out of town not near you but not London may be more cost effective although you will not be at home much during the week.
