What is a career in IT strategy, surely it is symbiotic with business strategy? I recently left an "IT strategy" practice in a leading UK management consultancy, mostly because there was a lack of client appetite for this sort of work. Focus your mind on what you want to do, strategic change, high level technical architecture, sourcing or governance and IT management design. Then persue that. Additionally, consider coming at the market from a business angle, such as m&a or transformation.Best of luck
