An opportunity has arisen to move into deloitte consulting from accenture. I dont know as yet which level or practice ill could join, but am interested in answers to more general questions.....
1- What is the culture like- friendly, aggressive, collegiate etc?
2- Training- Are staff assigned training budgets? Is there a standard curriculum at each level?
3- What is the pay range at the various levels.
4- Anyone made the move?? How has it gone, would you recommend it.
Cheers guys

Hi,I have been at Deloitte Consulting as a graduate coming up to 2 years now. Answers to your questions below:1. Culture is friendly although it is collegiate as well. This is more so with the graduates as many of them will have been recruited from Oxbridge etc. But they are nice people. I've heard from colleagues at Accenture that they work you far harder (in terms of hours, not the actual difficulty of the work) and that Acc have a clear up or out policy. Deloitte may well have a similar system but it is not explicity recognised. 2. As a graduate you have compulsory training courses which you need to attend, plus the opportunity of studying CIMA, CIPS or IDM as a professional qualification. Not sure how this works for the other grades.3. Grad's are on £32.5k p.a. Consultants range from £37k - £45k. Snr consultants from £50k - £60k. Any grade above this is more random, depending on what you as an individual bring to the table.
