Hi all, I have a very quick query which needs answering. I am joining accenture soon as a BSI analyst on their graduate scheme. I know that it is fairly difficult to move your operating group once working for the firm but is it possible lets say to move from BSI to business/strat consulting once you are in. Any feedback owuld be appreciated.

Well firslty, i moved my operating group when i joined, though that was during hte initial few weeks. obviously, the longer you leave it, the harder it becomes to move OG. In regards to the strat move, i think it is possible. However, you have to wait till your first promotion point to C1. Its obviosuly dependant on performance and you may need to take some form of assessment for it as well. hope this helps.

I have a close friend who is a C2 at Accenture who recently tried to get into strat from another OG. He had to take 2 interviews including one with a senior manager in the strat practice, including case study discussions.
