Hi everyone,I currently work for Accenture and have done for over 2 years. I am looking to move into another firm to pursue more specialised technical consulting. I have good experience but the only thing is I have have a 2:2 but from a good university. I have straight A's at A-Level. However, most consulting firms specify a 2:1 requirement for a degree. What can I do?Pleeeease help.Cheers

I suspect you will find that having Accenture on your CV is more important than the 2:2 result. Most consultancies looking for technical consultants will be delighted to receive applications from an Accenture candidate, so I would not let this put you off... Bill

Thanks for your response. At still an early stage of my career, it's difficult to determine the next steps, but anything positive always helps towards that step.Cheers

I ve a 2:2 and had an interview with Accenture and IBM both of which officially require a 2:2 degree but being an experienced consultant (4+ yrs expereience)i had no prob whatsoever with this and in the end got offers from both. This is my first hand experience.Bottom: if u ve right experience and right skills, GPA doesnt matter. GPA mostly matter for freshers and greaduate entry routs.
