Hello all, I am seeking some advice since I have landed myself in a wee bit of a mess. I am a chemical Engineer, studied in Florida, currently in Kenya. I landed myself a job in management and basically had to give myself a crash course on industrial management and quality management. Which i completely enjoy the challenge. I also studied quite a bit on organizational behaviour and leadership principles. As I was self teaching I did learn that what is in the books doesn’t necessary work in the real world. I realized as I was learning and directly implementing I had a lot to share with people in similar fields or situations as I was in so I started partially training. I merged lean production principles, kaizen, leadership and organizational skills and taught them in a way that was customized to their needs. Now I want to venture out and progress but not in the field of engineering. I want to train in management and leadership but I am not sure what kinda job offers one a chance to do so?? Or how I can improve myself to be able to practice what I have began to really enjoy.
