Can you help? I want to find out about the consulting industry in China. Is there an English language equivalent of this site? Or an industry member association?

Thanks aha. How do you find these things out? Is there a news service for consultancy in China or SE Asia?

Capgemini are certainly out here. Other notable players would include Accenture Bearingpoint and perhaps IBM/HP. McKinsey, Bain, Roland Berger also active.

Capgemini are certainly active in China, and growing at phenomenal rates. We're always looking for strong candidates with expertise, local culture and language. No easy ride out here, but if you are ambitious and prepared to push yourself well beyond your comfort zone, then it's an excellent place. Capgemini is reputed to be the general consulting company that "most understands China". kshiu@capgemini.com

I am specifically interested in the management consulting (Capgemini Consulting) discipline in China. Is CG considered a strong player in China within that domain?Do you know if it is possible to transfer to a China office from Europe? Currently, which practices / competences are most sought after in management consulting in China? Thanks!
