Most of the "newer" ones I would say.Go for CRM or BW,.. or maybe XI if you want to be on the technical side, that should do the trick!

Thanks Stockholm. What prior experience do consultancies typically look for when reviewing SAP applications? Does a non-technology background tend to be a major concern? I am thinking of using SAP as a way into the consultancy market.

Unless you already know SAP it may be difficult to get into a SAP consultancy at the moment, as there are a plenty of people around that have 10+ years SAP experience. Still it’s worth a try.Every consultancy will be definitely looking at your previous business experience. If you want to specialise say in Logistics (Sales & Distribution, Materials Management, Warehouse Management etc.), business experience in supply chain is important. If you want to get into Finance or Controlling, background in accounting is almost a must. Expanding skills to other areas is vital for SAP consultants to ensure that you are marketable and chargeable. SAP Logistics consultants seem to be moving e.g. either to SCM or CRM at the moment.

What focus areas/modules would you suggest for a person with a Sales and Marketing background and an MBA?

What are the best SAP certified training centres in London? (I am assuming that it is best to go to a certified training centre). This would be for public courses as I will have to fund it myself.
