I have a second interview with accenture. They said its going to be a phone skill interview. Any idea? Generally, any hints about accenture and the working environment/culture/hours.../travelling. This is for US.Thanks in advance!

For sensible answers relevant to the US, try:http://www.thevault.com/community/mb/mb_main.jsp?forum_id=5349&ch_id=252This site's mostly full of arrogant british Accenture haters.

I did ask but I m asking if someone has a personal experience about it. Sometimes its different what they tell you from what its really happening. Thanks!

I am being serious. The answers to your questions are on this website (top-consultant.com). Just search the posts for Accenture then read. How easy do you want it to be.

Insider - nobody is impressed with your posts. "I'm serious..." Ooh, scary :-)Playing hardman/woman via a messageboard is deeply tiresome. If you have nothing constructive to say, then please desist.

Davo speak for yourself. <b>I am not trying to be scary. My statement about being serious relates to my first post. By searching the top-consultant website the original poster could have found answers to all of his/her questions. As for your comment about having nothing constrcutive to say... Take your own advice.

if you want to join accenture consulting and at the same time thinking of doing a one year postgraduate degree, then mbus global business analysis at the manchester business school is the best for you. the programme has summer internship as part of its module and students are exposed to real consulting problems of companies during the internship, that include market entry strategy, M&A evalution, supply chain management etc etc. accenture is one of the partners of the programme and takes in around 2 students for internships each year. most of these students received full time consulting job offers from accenture uk post graduation.

Just undertaken the second phase1. HR Interview - re-imburse expenses and usual stuff2. Partner interview - incredible laid back meeting very well connected guy and discussed people we know in the industry. Both of us had worked for similiar firms. 30 minute discussion on career history.3. Case study - read for 10 mins and then discuss what you recommend4. Where you may fit in - partners introduces some roles and you select which role would be suitable for youCouldn&apos;t believe how striaghtforward it was

I am a US citizen with 10 yrs public sector and 2 years boutique consulting experience (Sr Mgr level). I provide strategic consulting (change mgt, ops, bus process improvement, OD/HR, govt auditing) in a specialized environment (natural non/natural disaster recovery). I am typically engaged as a sub or SME to IBM and PwC. Is it worthwhile to apply to UK positons, or is the lack of visa too problematic? I do not want to apply domestically for a UK position b/c I will get paid in dollars (obviously a liability!), miss the US foreign income exclusion, and probably get sent to India (need to travel home monthly to see the family). Any advice or know of firms receptive to US citizens. I am looking for a 5 year position. Tx!
