Hello everyone :) I am a postrgraduate student at Warwick Business School and I am interested in securing a graduate job in management consulting or IT consulting, after I graduate in September 2015. I would like to ask for information on the major consulting players in the UK, preferably by getting to know people who work at them :) I am also open to share information I have found so far!

I'm assuming you're not looking at MBB / other strategy places based on your post.Major (aka largest) players in the UK for MC and TC in no particular order are listed below per my knowledge. Others may correct me though if I've missed anyone!Management Consultancy:- Big 4 (Deloitte, PWC, EY and KPMG)- Accenture- CapgeminiTech Consultancy:- IBM- Accenture- Capgemini

Warwick isn't a target school for MBB (I guess not for PWC/B either but who knows what the hell is going on there). It's Oxbridge, LSE, LBS, perhaps UCL/Imperial if you have an excellent CV. They'll have presentations at Warwick of course but it's highly unlikely anybody gets in (though I suppose not impossible). P/OW/OCC/RB may be realistic options but you'll be fighting an uphill battle. There's such high demand for places and very limited supply even with the high churn rate of early stage consulting. Warwick students have a great shot at getting into one of the big four or Accenture in my opinion.PS: If you got all the firm names from the abbreviations you've been in consulting too long.

Can you imagine that I just checked the forum? too busy making applications :P From what I have seen, my best chances lie in IT3 and Big4. What's your oppinion about the quality (and my chances) for smaller strategy consultancies? LEK, Roland Berger, OC&C, Parthenon, PA?

PA in league of Roland Berger, LEK ?Parthenon is no more. Its acquired by EY.Here's your best bet given your school:For TC -> Go for AccentureFor MC -> Go for Deloitte

So far your research skills leave much to be desired OP.I know what you are asking - specific insights into firms, but simply asking for information on all the major firms on here is a bit lazy. Specify which firms and you might find more help forthcoming from current MCs and alumni.
