I have been at Capgemini Financial Services for two years. While I have been able to focus on more strategy/project management work instead of tech consulting work I would like to transition to a more strategy focused group. I am not confident that I will be able to develop the skills required for a top strategy firm at Cap.Would you advise that I stay at Cap for another year without developing these skills or head EY/Deloitte advisory position develop these skills and then target a top strategy firm.

I may be wrong, but I think to make the jump from Cap/Big 4 to strat house you'll likely want to do an MBA.

Yeah and make sure you do a good one, not some crummy open university or ex polytechnic type thing

To be fair, I've heard Hays Consulting will accept literally any MBA (or GCSEs) and apparently they're pretty good.

When you say Cap financial services btw, do you mean FET within CC or something else?
