I am applying to companies as a consultant. I am not totally closed out to going temp to perm. Some companies have approached me and asked for temp to perm. In my opinion for the most part it doesn’t exist. Actually I think it is a scam to get me to work unpaid hours. My question is how do you respond when someone ask would you go temp to perm? My first guess is to say lets first see how it goes on a temporary basis and then discuss permanent roles. Any ideas?
