Hi there everyone Im looking to get into consulting on a grad scheme but unsure which one to apply to. Ive got CDD at A level and Im doing my degree in Assets and Assurance at TVU. I know my A level points are not enough for most schemes but does anyone know where I might be recognized for my other life experience such as intern at Barclays?

It would be helpful to know exactly what your CV and the other life experience you mention consists of. As you've recognised, the academics are quite some way off the pace, so your differentiators from the millions of other candidates have to come from other achievements.The Barclays internship sounds intruiging - was it with Barcap, or high-street Barclays Bank? However, that and the degree subject suggest quite a financial slant - that sort of consulting is some of the most conservative about qualifications, so do you have any business experience to support an alternative tack into consulting?
