Sounds like you'd be best off as an independent consultant. Search for "independent" or "contractor" on the forum for more information. Setting up is a matter of registering your own business, etc. (the easy bit) and then winning work by leveraging your networks and personal contacts (the more difficult bit). You can presumably draw on those businesses you've set up and run to give you initial work and recommendations, then take it from there.
