Hello, i really want to apply to PwC's strategy team through the graduate route, but they ask for 28 UCAS points at A-level and I have 26. I've since gained a high 2:1 in history at UCL, and an MA and Phd in politics at King's. Do you think i should go ahead and apply and show my overall strengths...cheers

Given your Masters and Phd the A levels should be irrelevant. However skipping through the CVs recruiters are often looking for reasons to reject so best not to give them one. Just leave off the A levels at this stage. If they do ask at interview then you can remind them of your other academics and ask how important they feel A levels are in the context of someone with an MA and Phd. At least you can then discuss face to face.

hi. just a little bit of advice. go through a recruiter when applying to them! there are loads of excellent ones that advertise here on top.consultant. pwc strat are a very small team, circa 60 people. they arent really management consultants, by more like a strategic division of transaction services. they spend 80% of thier time doing pre m&a and the rest due dilligence and analysis. ( i have 2 close friends there)1) as with any company, remember not to be fooled by thier marketing, research what they really do2) its a small small team. apply through a recruiter!
