Hi all, I have an interview with MOW coming up. I have heard they pay A1 around 46k for basic first year + bonus. Can anyone confirm this? THanks

Not sure about now, but certainly a few years back Oliver Wyman (now MOW following merger) paid the highest starting salaries of any consulting firm to new graduates. So this figure doesn't sound inconceivable...

According to a friend of mine who worked there until recently, their packages tend to have a heavy weighting towards bonus. This means that they tend to have a lower basic but very high bonus. So you may want to check out precisely how the figure they have given you breaks down.

46k basic..no way.A friend started there last year and he was on 33k basic plus 30% guaranteed bonus (only first year). So first year salary does end up being around 44k all in all but the guaranteed bonus doesnt hold. That was his deal anyhow.

They do pay well. The figure sounds about right for the MBA hiring group with a couple of years consulting experience.
