Customer of Salamander (HP)

They are a bunch of crooks!! They conned the mgmt of my organisation into engaging them to transform our services capability. This was for the UK - they then upsold themselves into doing the same at an EMEA level. Basically they are executive coaches who claim to help consulting businesses become more consultative - complete twaddle. Keep regurgitating the same material. Their formula is based on 6 months of content. They just keep recycling the same material. You should meet one of their lead guys (will not name him in a public forum) - a cross betn a dodgy used car salesman and Bruce Forsyth.

Does anyone else have any info on these guys? I have been approached by a recuiter about them. If anyone could confirm or deny the sentiment in the response above, I would appreciate it.

Gekko/Intrigued,I think that this single response is a bit one sided and wholly unfair of the company I have worked with of late. I appreciate that 5/6 years ago they may have had a focus on coaching and training but they are a very different company today. I would suggest you look at their wbesite to get a flavour of their offerings and client list (which is quite impressive) and make up your own mind. One disgruntled customer (and we don't know why - this sounds personal) does not accurately reflect an organisations capability or past...Personally I have found them personable, very capable and have delivered quailty solutions that I do not believe I could get from many larger organisations.

It's worth checking everyone is talking about the same outfit here - there is a York based Salamander, that is big into business architecture and has done some respectable work in the MoD, uses a tool called MOOD...
