Hello, what are the general oppinions when comapring these two firms? At SBS I have been working with SAP full time and at PA (ISI Practice) I will be working on a number of different IT-related projects. Which one do you think looks best in my CV?

SBS are not in great shape really. PA is going to look better, and will be more secure in the long run...

My impression is that PA is more focused on consulting, whereas SBS is more of an outsourcing/BPO house. This is coming from someone without experience of either organisation, so can only talk about general CV brownie points rather than what the work actually entails.

PA consulting anyday. SBS is just a smaller version of EDS - bog std outsourcing and BPO. PA does a lot more strategic work and tends to be client side rather than supplier side. Good mix of short-sharp and longer term projects. PA is not a BCG or Mckinsey, but a lot of ops and process transformation, IT programme mgt and setting up, shared services and sourcing strategy type work that is very much in vogue from a skills perspective. BTW - i dont work for either!!
