Hi, i would just like to get a feel for the market, and specifically I wanted to know about basic partner salaries. I have the following figures: EY advisory 300+, Accenture 150+, Deloitte 270+Can anyone contribute or contend these figures? Thanks

Last year, average Partners salaries at Deloitte were £600k. They plan to have an avg Partner salary of £1m by 2010. It's the place to be for Partners.

"It's the place to be for Partners...."Looking at the posting below from a Deloitte's employee, its obviously not the place to be if you're not a partner. From what I've heard, its a horridly hierarchical place to work, so this sort of exploitative behaviour that goes on there

Agree with “place to be for partners” comment. Partner profit shares are outrageous – ave +800k this year. Below partner things are far less rosy, expect just below the market rate. Would also concur that it is v hierarchical, promotion based on time in grade, with little or no reward for differential performance. Given this dogmatic insistence on hierarchy and the current trend for introducing more grades and more time in each of the grades, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow will prove to be just that for 99.99% of employees.
