Anyone know which Big 4 firm has the best merger integration/post-deal services practice? (in terms of number of consultants, quality of clients etc)Also, what presence does IBM have in this space?

I interviewed with E&Y in their post-deal services department back in Jul 05. My feeling is they seem to be building up that service and must be growing looking at the market opportunities. Other logical guesses would be KPMG and PWC. Good luck with your search. Vik

Try Deloitte. Good Corporate Finance Team and they work very closely with thier Consulting Practice in the follow up integration work. Don't think IBM have a presence in this space (would compete with PwC)?

Vik, I am an ex E&Y mgt consultant and would like to go back to EY. I am thinking Transaction Advisory services. I have 15+ y of experience. What are the qualities / skills I need to show in my resume. Can we talk offline? Are you in the US or in UK? Thanks for you time and advices. Charles

What's all this about? E&Y, transaction advisory services, talk of deals, KPMG, PwC, corporate finance teams, etc? Sounds a little bit too much like accountancy for my liking! And what's IBM got to do with it all??!I'd expect talk of PMI and M&A on a consultancy board, but this conversation seems to be going well down the accountancy avenue.
