I made manager in big 4 (advisory) after 2 years, 10 months. Most of my peers (on a fast-track scheme) made it in 3-3.5. 4 years is quite standard for high performers, particularly in advisory where there is no requirement to pass exams. If you're a solid performer who has met the criteria of delivery and extra-cirricular stuff, expect to be manager in 5 years, no longer than that.Senior Consultant is what PwC used to call senior manager. As per your comment, there was some confusion. PwC SCs have now been re-badged as Senior Managers. Hope that helps.
