£66 - 80K basic. You'd get car allowance (just under £6K) + 10% bonus too.

Depends on which area you work in, what project you're on and what stage of the life-cycle it's at. If you're trying to work out hourly pay; it ranges from minimum wage to pretty well paid.

That is a very wide range. What sort of things should one look out for to avoid inadvertently being drawn into the lower end of the hourly rate scale that you should describe?

Are you looking to join the firm BEP? I had you down as a lifelong contractor and ACN detractor.

I've been doing something wrong all these years...Bonus is *very* dependent on performance too don't forget so if you are a new starter finding your feet you're going to get little/none. 10% is quite high in the scale.I need to move to agent smith's part of the business..

£66k to £75k sounds just about right; however if you read the "How to survive thread" you'll be barely able to survive on that type of salary ;)

related to that, don't forget that all your child benefit will be taken away when you pass the £60k point, which if you have kids makes quite a lot of difference

I haven't done the maths, but there must be a point in the £60k to £75k range where until you hit that point it would be more beneficial to earn £59.9k right? What a crazy system we have.

Thanks everyone for your responses. How much time Accenture UK takes to onboard? How long pre-employment checks takes?

If you've got a final round interview this week this would be a good question to ask HR e.g. "assuming I'm successful, can you confirm what the onboarding next steps and associated timelines would be?"The answer is as described on the other thread, it depends on the intake slots available. There's at least one a month I would say so if it was really bad timing it could be up to two months from the offer.

I've been given a provisional start date with a condition of satisfactory results of pre-employment checks.I'm on 4 weeks notice period - should i resign and serve notice period now or wait until the pre-employment check are complete and I'm provided with a actual start date? Please advise.

Nice of them to leave you dangling. Maybe tell them that there is an order to these things. You have a notice period but it would be unwise to resign until you have an unconditional offer from them. They need to ensure that the time gap between confirming the unconditional offer and the start date is longer than your notice period, otherwise it simply doesn't work. What if they changed their mind and said it was because of one if your references? You'd be up te creek. No, you new a confirmed unconditional offer before resigning I would say. Unless you like anxiety I guess.

As BEP says do not resign until you've signed the contract and received confirmation from Accenture that it has received it.

Yup, I'd agree. Although you're clearly a valuable asset and will no doubt be an amazing leader of the future, they're big enough for a month delay in your start not to affect their share price. Your bottom line on the other hand will be affected by not having a job.

Exactly. Difference to them of a "glitch" in the transfer process: 0.0000000000000000000000000001%. Difference to you: 100%.

Thanks everyone for your valuable suggestions. It's a bit tricky situation for me - I am thinking is it the case for other new joiners? They may be going through the same phase? After chasing the response is - we are targetting to get you onboard as-is the provisional date. But my referee haven't got anything from them yet - strange?

Usual thing I would say - it takes a while to get offers out. This can be exacerbated if you are joining from a client as they often check with them so they don't upset them.As others have said you need to make sure you have a contract all sorted. There are many experienced hire new joiner sessions so worst case is you wait another 1-4 weeks to join.
