Hi all.I graduated 9 years ago (First, Russell Group university) after which I did an MA in International Relations and subsequently have been working in various (primarily project management) roles within the humanitarian and international development NGOs and the United Nations in Africa, Middle East/Asia and ultimately in London. I'm interested in entering the consulting sector, for new skills, a new challenge, etc. I'm wondering what the chances/options are: I think I have a unique set of transferrable skills and experiences, but on the other hand, am aware that it is a different skillset to that which most consultants will have - I'd have catching up to do.Agewise, I think it's too late for a graduate scheme, but would be interested to know whether any consultancies offer opportunities to join as a consultant, with some kind of fast-track consulting skills training. Any thoughts or recommendations? Any skills/training I could pursue to boost my chances? Thanks for any suggestions!
