Hello all,I am due to start here at the end of the year at PC level. From historic threads it appears that they went through a patch of very low employee morale from 2008-2010, anyone able to proffer a view on how things are now? Same old or bright future ahead? Any practice specific views welcome also. Thanks

As with all companies - in reality it's going to come down to the team/managers/clients you end up working with. Some people will get a bad experience, others will get a good one. Better not to buy in to snobbery of "this firm is better than that firm" - truth is if you've gotten in to PA you're doing better than most people :)

I tend to agree with the point Mike is making. But just be sure you're clear on what your objectives are before buying into this. If you want to join PA for the work/experience in itself, the above is true. If this is the case, however, your question should be more specific, i.e. I am keen on building experience/a career in industry/area X, is PA currently a good place to do this?If you want to work in consulting with a view to opening future doors, catapulting your career, etc. then the external perception (snobbery) of PA counts for a lot more. If this is the case, your question should be something like "I want to work for PA, with a view to moving on to X after N years. Is this a good step?". You didn't mention anything about future career prospects, I just want to make sure you excluded this part of the question purposefully.
