anyone know what the big 4 charge, split by rank/grade of staff?I have an idea, but recent information that has come to light makes me think that i might believe it to be way lower than it actually is.

I agree with Smithy, a big 4 Analyst DOES NOT get charged out at £400/dayEver.But neither is he charged out at £200 an hour (which would mean £1400-1600 a day).It will always depend on the client, longevity of programme/project, contract type, Partner margin reqs etc amongst other things. In general, around anything between £600 to £1,000It will all be dependent on a number of factors, client and Big 4 side

Most I saw an analyst charge out per day was about £1300 as the programme had one day rate no matter the level...

BEP try this:http://assets-production.govstore.service.gov.uk/G4/Lists contracted rates for the government by firm. It's mainly IT type work, but decent base to benchmark.

This is a length-of-a-piece of string question.Varies massively as a function of:- team / op code within the firm- the type of work- the length of the project- the type of client- the locationBut I will just reiterate that is never in my experience as little as £400 a day. Not going to happen when you pay the analysts £120-140 a day utilised or not. They may be trying to bring in (for example) £180k per year per fee earner - easy enough to do the sums.
Mechanics earn more than Big 4 analysts.
Of course they do, takes more than a fancy degree and a good interview turnout to be a mechanic!
