PWC Grades

Does anyone know the grade structure at PWC e.g. Deloitte is Analyst, cons, senior cons, manager, senior manager, director, deity. What's the SM/Director equivalent for PWC Consulting - too old for analyst, not gropey enough to try for partner.

I think it was written in Northern.Roughly translated, it means "What are the grades at PWC Consulting and how much do they pay?"

definitely in northern...Question is what is the grade ladder in PWC versus other Consulting firms e.g. Deloitte.

It's associate (those coming through the grad pg), then senior associate (associate promoted - obviously, or first level of experienced hire), then consultant / manager, senior consultant / manager, director and then partner.

It takes a certain sort of bloodymindedness to persist with a system which looks like no-one else's and gives your moderately "senior" staff (the.grade below director) a title which makes clients and other consultants think they're looking at someone on a somewhat leisurely career track.

Makes me go all misty eyed remembering young wide boys pitching up to SAs at PwC for Consultant level roles, only to get torn a new one. Oh how I laughed.
