You will get absolutely slaughtered in the big 4 if you cannot spell properly at all times, no matter how big or small whatever you are working on.You joined KPMG, a well known MC and you have no clue on hours? No background research? Come on Sam, something called "networking" required here. Hours will be long, you are hired as a high performing analyst, expected to work long and hard as you want your promotion asap, you are hungry to grow etc etc. If you want a 9-5 with a little bit of extra work here and there only, I suggest you reject the offer and look for something else. The average UK salary is around £24k a year, while a Senior Consultant earns upwards of £40k+, some up to £70k. If you want normal hours, I know a local shop looking for a helper.I know the guys here will be harsh, but thats because everyone wants the money but is hoping the hours will be short and the work easy. Doesn't work like that.However, KPMG has good training and if you are lucky to have a good Partner and a fun programme (ie the KPMG Manager on it is a good guy), you will be fine.
