A Partner would look at this as peanuts, an Associate would be amazed at being offered anything.The main point I was going to make - if you want to accept, say no to the incentive bonus, ask instead that they give you £2,000 of support in expenses.What I mean by that is;£2,000 extra in actual salary sounds good for a junior as an incentive bonus, but it probably finishes up as £1,400 if you are lucky. This is not much to help you move in London standards.While £2,000 of actual expenses paid would be of huge help. You can claim the rental van, petrol, a handful of train journeys, first week or two of hotel and your first year of Oyster card. All these are genuine business expenses as you are only doing them because of work, hence best to get the expenses rather than salary.
