Does anyone know much about this division at PWC?I'm currently in a functional role with deep sector/technical experience which would transfer well to this consulting specialism. It means getting off my existing functional track (legal) which is ok paid (7 years in on £70k and low six figures is very doable in near future) and hours pretty standard. But I want to do something to break out of my technical specialism and broaden my cv. Ultimately I may want to start my own business and thought a broader experience of different businesses can only be a good thing in the long run.

Hi CompsecI have worked for PwC Consulting for a while and recently joined that team. The special thing about FSRR is that it is made up of a mixture of people from different parts of PwC (Consulting, Tax, Assurance etc) but all with expertise in risk and regulation. The big advantage for me is that we are able to aviod some of the pitfalls of silo'd working that you sometimes get in the big 4 consultancy firms. It is still quite a new concept but there are some good, experienced partners the leadership team and have ambitious growth plans so should be quite exciting. It depends on what you are looking for, but if have expertise in regulation and want to develop your consulting skills I would think it would be a great place to learn. Hope that answers your question?
