#0 PWC offer - market rate?

Hi all,I would really appreciate some opinions on how competitive the offer is that I received from PWC.Firstly, I'm an experienced banker, and this would be my first role outside banking.Secondly, I have looked through this forum and glassdoor etc, but it's hard to get specific information, as my offer isn't actually for a consulting position. The role is at Executive level within the Operations function (Internal Firm Services). The offer is £30k, and I've been told this is at the top end of the pay bracket - but this seems incredibly low, particularly as I know x-bankers at other Big 4 firms earning closer to £50k as Executives, but then that is on the consulting side.So my question is; does £30k represent a fair and market rate at an Executive level in Operations / Internal Firm Services? Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

If you are an 'experienced banker' why have you applied for, let alone been offered, an exec level role?

lol @ Bushy eyebrow partner. Mate @MIA: Even though i ain't sure of the JD of for the role you're being offered but £30K does sound low for an experienced Banker. But more important perhaps is to ask these questions: 1. When you say experienced banker...how many years are we talking about?2. Do you earn more than the offered £30K at your present bank job? Irrespective of a job description or role it is very rare that a prospective employer will offer you less than what you're presently earning as financial progression is obviously expected to be one of the deal makers in any job offer.

Big4 Graduate salaries in consulting (London based) all start at 30k+ This seems like an odd offer, could you clarify the role a bit more? Is it more of a back office type function?
