ok....1. You want an IT consultant job...but you want to know what the 'career is all about'. Do your own research, noone on here will do it for you. 2. Challenges and hurdles to what? Typing out the application? Deciding what to eat in the morning with a hangover?That said, the most generic advice I can give is: A. Research the industry, the work, the role, the company which you are applying to. Understand why you want to work in the industry, more specifically where in a business, what interests you, what doesn't, etc.B. Look at the big firms who have an established graduate programme in place. If, however, you haven't completed point A above, you will be discarded like someone picking olives off a pizza.C. Become coherent, polite and courteous. If nothing else, it will make you a better person.
