HelloI have applied for a position of junior consultant at Accenture. It's a position for fresh graduates.I have applied through their site without being referred by anyone. How long does it take to process a resume and proceed further? How hard actually is to get selected for an interview?

I calculate your chances at 19.63.04 % rising to 19.79.02 % if your CV was spell checked, grammatically correct, you have a 2.1 degree, decent A levels, some extra curricular stuff and there is less than 90% of applicants who entirely eclipse what you have done so far in your life.

@Mars - are you sure about the 00.15.98% increase? How sure are you? (I'm looking for %)I personally thought it would be slightly higher than the final figure you appear to have landed on?....

I think he may have rounded down his numbers in which case it would be 00.15.99%
How did you calculate my chance?
They are making it up. You provided far too little detail about yourself and asked a question that would be impossible to really answer anyways, since it depends on your competition almost as much as you. cgpa - cumulative grade point average. How well did you do throughout all of university. Getting selected for an interview is very difficult, depending on your situation. Did you graduate from a top school/program of value? Did you have internships, work experience, or extra curriculars, that make you more valuable than your degree indicates?Just because a position is for new grads, doesn't mean you are competing against people with no work. You are competing against people who have had internships or work experience, but have also just graduated. You are also competing against top school grads, good GPAs, people with referrals, etc. If you have those things, you are competing against your equals, and may, therefore, stand the same chance they do, which will depend on variables no one here will know. If you do not have those things, your chances are considerably worse, though salvageable if you had a great referral within the company. If you have your heart set on this, get networking.

I feel a bit cheated..bloke on the market said it was the best one of the two, albeit a little cheaper and lacking the scratchproof glass of the other one.
