Hi,I'm in last stage to get formal offer for Engagement role in I&D business unit. I was told by Interviewer that Engagement manager group has only Project Managers, Sr. Project Manager and Directors. So, quite a senior role in the organisation.... which is great match to my experience working as Sr. Manager for last many years and worked in many top consulting firms like ACN.Please i'm looking for advice on below obvious points -1) What is salary bracket for EM's? In some very old post i see CG salary will have 3 parts : Basic + 15% Flexi allowance + Bonus. Wondering what is "Flexi allowance", is it cash allowance which you can use to buy various benefits according to life style? I'm in 6 digit basic with my last company and i wonder if CG will at least match to my last pay?2) What are various grades - In some earlier post i see O1-O12 and in some posts i see as A1-A7. What grade are for Engagement Managers?Appreciate if someone can help me to answer about two questions, it helps me to look for right grade for my experience. Thanks in advance

Salary etc depends on a few things. Worked with CG people on several occasions. Firstly - are you outsourcing / technology or consulting - O, T and C grades although this maybe old money as not sure what A is. Generally O lowest, T median and C higher in terms of pay.If technology minimum would be T8 but many engagement managers would be T9. Yes if you are managing a single laptop into an SME then T7/6 or a project manager but the larger engagements typically are T9's.As you can imagine salaries are broad o,c,t grades so difficult to guide you as the range between T6-9 or C3-5 could be 50-60k difference - so think of a number or come back with more detail.DC
