Hi,I am an oracle apps technical consultant.I had join capgemini as a fresher 3 years back I was enjooying but after spending 2 years and working hard i was still coming in there fresher policy and there was an issue with hike process so i have switch to TCS.Now i am just tired up with TCS and there stupid policies. They make you work like a hell and don't pay you much and more over i don't have any onsite aspiration. Working in TCS is good only if you want to go to onsite so I am coming back to Capgemini after my one year completion in TCS.I wanted to know is it a good time to join capgemini again and do i will get proper hike. How much hike should I ask in capgemini. capgemini is good and its really near to my heart.I had already cleared my technical round got a call for manager round. Please help me I am really confuse. Thanks

Hi;Do join CapGemini for hike will there good be. Obviously tied up TCS not good back-office, when clearly front office aspirations should you may have not. DEFINITELY sure make that you good hike DEMAND when you go to CapGemini. You clearly manager skills full of, TCS will be sorry to loose you. However it's GREAT time to join CapGemini - midday Friday is hot hot hot in recruiting world...Arby

I always think a hike of less than 5 miles is not really a hike, more of a long-ish walk.I also sort of think that a hike needs to be over certain terrain - hills, fields etc. otherwise, again, it feels like a walk.Though I did once hike round Bude canal and that felt like a proper hike despite being on paths and just short of 5 miles. Maybe because I had on my hiking boots and all-weather gear?Hmmm- confusing.

I genuinely think branding is too over the top for hiking boots. You run the risk of weakening the waterproofing on the leather should you either overheat the brand or hold it to the boot too long. I recommend simply writing you name in biro on the INSIDE of the boot - it should be enough to mark them as yours. If your boots are cow leather and there is a residual brand then the chances are you're wearing western cowboy boots, the treads of which are wholly unsuitable for all but the simplest of fell walking.
