Hi Tony,Thanks for your view - I can definitely see the issue.Following your advice I will of course not bring this up.I just wonder.. In Denmark we have some student jobs within the consulting industry, where you take on many of the same tasks as the associates. Although a student will do tasks at a slightly lower level and of course for less hours per week, being in such a position for 2½-3 years must really make you able to do many of the same tasks that associates learn within the first year. As a substantial amount of associates are promoted (as far as I've heard) within 1½ years of their start, some student workers should be almost ready for promotion to consultant when graduating. Do you think they would then be promoted quite fast after they started as associates (1 year)? Or would they be kept as associates as long as other newcomers in order to not cause too much trouble?Thoughts on the subject would be very appreciated.(I've attached a job notice for a student worker position at BCG):Best regards,Bjarke[quote] We are looking for a bright mind to fill a position as student worker (20 hours per week) as soon as possible. If you recognize yourself in the following, we would like to hear from you.You are keen to join the best team in town and have good communication skills in both Danish and English.
