I'm currently going through the interview processes for several of the Big 4, and was wondering what people's knowledge and/or experience is of entry level salaries in these roles?I'm looking at moving from the public sector to an entry level role outside of London, more specifically in the North. Just curious as I'm aware of the salaries in London, but don't have much knowledge of typical salary ranges in the North.Any help would be hugely appreciated, as I'm due to earn £31k with perks probably adding up to an additional 5k on top (pension, A/L, travel expenses etc) by the time I would commence my role in the Big 4. However, I really want to pursue a career in management consultancy.Thanks in advance,CP

Being blunt, I would be incredibly surprised if you didn't surpass the salary you've stated by joining a Big 4.

I had hoped that would be the case, I just wanted to get a sense of whether I would be required to prepare for a financial step back in my earnings, but from the sounds of it that will likely not be the case.Any ideas on the ranges in the North of the UK for steps on the ladder, as I've looked on glassdoor and there's little, if not any regarding salaries in this region.Thanks again,CP
