Logicman - have you had your interview yet?I hope I'm not too late, but to answer a few of your questions:1. Market rates, but year on year payrise is not amazing. If you're on the bonus package this somewhat makes up for it.2. They have a career framework that maps out the career levels based on key capabilities. In practise there is no rigid promotion path or timescales. The best way to move up is by being chummy with your assignment Line Manager and your Staff Manager as these are the people who will sing your praises during the performance/pay review period. So if you're good at establishing and maintaining great relationships then you'll do well.3. Fairly relaxed - it's the sort of company where you can sit back and chill, or be really ambitious, it's what you make of it. Your experience will vary depending on where / which project(s) you work on, but generally people are hardworking and very friendly. There are a lot of egos in the company (ancient dinosaurs in high positions adding little value), most of which have been given the boot in a recent realignment programme (aka culling). They have a Social Club that offers discounts (up to 50%) on things like theatre tickets, sailing trips, wine tasting events and other events.4. Large proportion of public sector, government and defence work. Payment systems and smart metering are big ones.5. Pretty much what R2D2 said. I think Logica's problem is that despite rebranding and realignment, clients still aren't certain what they do and what they are driving towards. Company visions are woolly and lacking in substance with impact. With this in mind, now is a great time to join as you can be the driving force of transforming the BC practice. I know this is a long post but hope it helps!!
