Hi All, Does anyone have any knowledge or experience regarding EY's SC activities? I had been led to believe that they didn't have an SC practice as such, but have recently seen ads for positions in this area. Is this something they are developing specifically or is it handled mainly under tracsactional/merger sort of activity?Any info greatly recieved!

I've seen this too and have seen a couple of ex-colleagues join EY at Mngr and Snr Mngr level. Not sure wwhat to make of it but looking at the details of the job spec posted it looks very much like the areas of focus for them are old chestnuts and suggests to me that they are building from a base of nothing to a "ME2" standard. I don't see any innovation in this area but then I am looking purley from the outsider perspective.I think SC will be a good area to move into in 2011 but I'm a little hesitant to suggest that EY would be a top choice for this kind of work outside of procurement.

Thanks for the insight Anon, and I agree SC is a definite growth area for 2011 and beyond, but would take some convinving that EY will be a major player in this arena...Anyone else with any thoughts on this?
