Hi folks, What is hierarchy of roles in Operations practice at Deloitte? What would be good fit for a consultant with 8 years of experience?-Sush

Director. Senior managers with no sales record are occasionally bought in. What grade would you benefit from some sales experience? Manager

Does it mean Deloitte has more levels than Accenture? Is it right to say:ACN C1, C2= Dot ConsultantACN C3 = Dot Senior ConsultantACN Manager= Dot ManagerACN Senior Manager= Dot Senior ManagerACN SE= Dot DirectorACN SE ( 3 years on level)= Dot PartnerWhich level would I fit in: I left ACN as M2 (after 2 years on Manager level) and currently a contractor (since last 1.5 years).Any help will be appriciated as I am keen to apply in Deloitte.RegdsAnon

There's another grade between Director and Partner as Associate Partner - effectively salaried "partners"Not sure what the appetite is like at present, as Deloitte MCS (for whom I may or may not work) are holding on recruitment as a measure to support the slow down in public sector so other practices can absorb the staff.

i thought AP was specific to the non consulting streams at Deloitte (and was a plateau for people who probably wouldn't make partner).Acn Snr Mgr would could equate to both Dot Snr Mgr and Director depending on how many years at level and which geography you were talking, but agree with the above, if you were an ACN snr mgr with no sales experience i suspect they would be hesitant to bring you in as Dir.Similarly although level 3 and up probably equate best to partner at big 4 firms (a 3 year SE could still be a level 4 and therefore not a true comparison to an equity partner at a big 4 firm), the earning potential is significantly higher at those latter firms since they are actual partnerships.

The AP is probably correct for non-Consulting service lines, know of some AP who're up for FP so more of a holding pattern than a parking lot.

AP in Deloitte MCS is a common place for 'specialist' partners who might have incredible deep skills in one area but not the breadth expected of a FP.Also a little more focus on delivery and less on sales.salaried rather than equity = in the 250-300k mark so not to be sniffed at!
