Hi everyone,I am willing to move out of consultancy into industry. I have put up with the long hours & the travelling; managed to get a promotion but I do not foresee much progress where I am currently working. I have 10+ working experience, MBA and a few good names in my CV but I am struggling to get leads outside my network of contacts.My objective is to launch a job in the Financial Services but I do not have experience in the field; alternatively Telecoms could do. Most of my recent experience has been in the Automotive industry but the rates are shockingly low.Can you recommend a few headhunters that I can engage with to help me make this transition?Enjoy the summer while it lasts...Cheers

you need to credentialise yourself first in FS to stand any hope of interesting headhunters, which may sound a bit circular. to break that loop you may consider contracting into LTSB, who currently have armies of PMO and delivery managers, and where functional integration/delivery skills can override the industry background

Good luck at LTSB without any FS experience! That is the first, second and third thing their army of droid recruiters look for before turfing your CV over a wall int he hope of a quick commission.Generally you cannot break into FS without having substantial FS experience first. It is one of the most insular industries in this respect.
